The CDC recommends a new shot, targeting more a recent variant, for virtually all Americans​ to reduce the risk of severe illness, hospitalization or death.

The new shots are formulated to target the XBB.1.5 subvariant.

疾管署今（20）日宣布，首批莫德納XBB疫苗預計這2天到貨，從26日起優先開放65歲以上長者接種，最快10月9日起開放全民接種；而為鼓勵高風險族群接種，65歲以上長者每人可領500元衛教品及10劑家用快篩試劑。
